Read Across America Day
Members of the Rotary Club of South Portland Sunrise visited elementary schools in celebration of Dr. Seuss birthday to take part on Read Across America Day, March 3, 2014.
This event emphasizes the joy of reading, literacy and volunteerism.

Dominican Republic Festival
The Rotary Clubs of Portland and South Portland Sunrise partnered with Southern Maine Community College (SMCC) in hosting a Dominican Cultural Festival and Benefit Concert in September.
Proceeds were designated for healthcare providers for the upcoming Global Grant 'Hearing, Hands and H2O' in the Dominican Republic and scholarships for local graduates who attend SMCC.
